    siphon nuts? tight?

    is it true that when changing a siphon, if you don't tighten the siphon nut tight enough (ie with water pumps) then when the cistern is replaced water will leak out of the back of the pan where the cistern sits?!!!

    putting a towel rad in my bathroom possibly?!!

    C-PLAN hot water valve?

    a quick question - why is the motorized valve (2-port) on the Return between the cylinder and boiler on a c-plan system (gravity hot water) - why can't it be on the flow? Does it make a difference? Was reading about it and it didn't state why! WOuld be interesting to know if anyone knows why?

    just a quick question-a 3kw immersion heater at 240 volts will use 12.5 amps - so will a 13amp fuse be sufficient in the spur socket? i read that a 15amp fuse or 16 amp mcb should be used so i'm not so sure now!!???
