Neff dishwasher (S4132F0GB) sticking during cycle

My Neff dishwasher stops several times during the wash cycle and won't continue until the knob is manually moved on a bit. The water heater is working fine. If the knob isn't manually moved, the wash might complete on its own but take 6-8 hours. Is this likely to be a timer problem? How...

Gasguru, thanks for your guidance. :D I spoke with Stewart Turner and the problem turned out to due to the flow magnet assembly on the hot water outlet pipe being stuck closed. :)

    Help identify this part

He tested it by blowing down the hot and cold inlets to pump after he had removed the pump from the system - cold passed air OK but hot didn't (which was the initial problem, hot water not reaching the shower). Is there anything else he could do?

    Help identify this part

Thanks for responses but this part doesn't seem to be supplied by Stewart Turner along with the pump, as it doesn't appear on the parts list on that site. It looks to me more like it was added by whoever fitted the pump and that's what makes me think its a generic part fitted to all types of...

    Help identify this part

I have a shower which isn't pumping hot water and I had a plumber mate look at the problem. He took apart the pump and found that a switch on the hot water pipe is faulty. He spoke to a plumbing supplier and they quoted £75+vat this part, which seems excessive for such an insignificant part...

No hot water in power shower

No hot water in power shower

Hi, I have a power shower which isn't delivering hot water or even warm water. Turning the knob on the shower to hotter makes no difference to the water temp, which stays at cold. I'm a noob when it comes to diy, so forgive my lack of knowledge. My system is like the diagram on bottom...

    Fused wall switch overheating

Thanks for all feedback and suggestions :) There's actually a spare wall fuse control switch above the tumble dryer, not being used (I dunno why not!) and so I'll split the two and wire the dryer directly into it. :)

    Fused wall switch overheating

Thanks, xerxes :) OK. I've just screwed the covers off and the wires aren't damaged at all It appears that the wires from the tumble dryer and washing machine are both joined behind the units and then one wire runs to the same fused control unit. If I replace the fused wall unit...

We bought a house 7 years ago and the utility was wired for a washing machine and tumble drier. in recent weeks we noticed a smell in the utility (sort of fishy smell) and I performed cleaning maintenance on both machine. Smell didn't go away and I've now noticed that the part of the fused wall...
