Hi guys,
can you please identify a sensor on my 2005 Ford Focus Ghia 1.6 115BHP petrol 80000 mile car for me. Looking in from the front of the car, to the right of the cylinder block, on top of the transmission housing is a plastic disc with a plastic nozzle mounted on it. From the nozzle is a black 1/4'' diameter plastic tube about 6'' long going to a box about the size of a matchbox which is simply clipped to the metalwork. There are no electrical connections to it. The box has the following on it : Folio.co CJ NKA. Can you please tell me what this box/sensor does? also as I had to shorten the tube as the end was split, I can't clip it back to the metalwork and have simply used a plastic tie to stop it from rattling about - will this matter ? I can not see any signs of this sensor in photographs in my Haynes manual!
