Need a little more information. How is the garage supplied with power. Is there a separate MCB in the house consumer unit? What value is the MCB?Ok another question then.
I want to have 2 16amp sockets in the garage so I can move the welder about. Can these both be wired as 2 separate radials from the same 16amp MCB? I know this means they both cannot be used at the same time but I'm a little stuck with space in the CU

Or is it supplied from another circuit in the house, perhaps through a FCU?
Is it allowed to wire a blue 16amp socket as a spur off a ring main?
Thanks. As I said I will wire it on its own 16amp circuitNo LOL
The reason for my first question was I was hoping to save on cabling by spuring it. But as you said that is not good practice I will now run it as a separate circuitSo then it is not a spur then is it, It is not on a ring 'main' Is it.
Attached to the CU fused down to 16A in the garage will be fine.
