1930s house render over DPC

Hi!

I live in a 1930s house and am trying to figure out how the DPC/render works.

Since the house is fairly old I don't expect it has a plastic DPC, but I can't find any sign of any DPC.

The render applied to the house is very hard (you can't nail cable clips into it) but it also is flush all the way down to ground level.

Our original house survey pointed out this was an issue, but every single house on our road has this exact same setup.

The walls are double brick solid walls.

We don't currently have damp issues so I assume there must be some system in place preventing damp in the walls, but I can't figure it out.

I'm wondering if I should remove the render up to the air brick level and inject a DPC around the house.

Hi there should be two or three courses of engineered bricks, (blue bricks) ,
you say you don't have damp problems, if it ain't broken, don't fix it,
