p.p.s. Yes, you can have the old light on one switch and the new light on the other switch of the 2 gang. Both the suggestions will do this.

It is the 2nd option that I am looking for.

Does he mean twin and earth from the switch to the second pendant (that has no power) or from the 1st alongside the 3 core and earth.
At the moment I have 3 core and earth coming from the 1st pendant (with power) to the switch and twin and earth coming from the second light (no power) to the switch.
Am I good to go.
