Do you have in-house SEs mik, or do you farm your checking stuff out to outside consultants on carp hourly rates that are then massaged to up their income and insodoing use up your entire budget through endless carping with other engineers about the validity of their design?!

No no one in house Shy we do occasionally check beam calcs if they look suspect on our SuperBeam program.I use it that rarely that I can never remember how to work it !! Sometimes wish I was still on the tools but not at the moment .
Being a quite rural authority nearly all of our larger are jobs partnered out for checking to Lincoln City that do have in house engineers and I believe they put out to tender some of the projects.
