530 login fail on Chrome

I have an account on a website I need to upload work to. They have given me the username and password which works from their end. Everytime I try to login with the password given in Chrome, I get this message

"login failed. Check your username and password and try again. 530 access denied"

I have no idea what to do about this it is not an error.

First try a different browser and if that fails it could be that their server is not set up to use outside IP addresses.

Dificult to give real advise not knowing how you are connecting or what you are connecting to.

It works in Internet Explorer but not in Chrome so Chrome is the problem. I have looked in Chrome's tools but am clueless as to what to do

I a still at a loss how to solve this. The website is really important as I have to be able to upload my work to it.
