I have exactly the same problem as posted by Tortoise in August last year.
i.e.I have 63mm rainwater down pipes which are a) blocked and b) concreted into the pathway. I shall go to flexseal as advised by Hugh Jaleak if necessary but first, can I ask did Blagard's suggestion of twisting the pipe out work? I have tried twisting mine out with my bare hands with no success. This my be because I am not strong enough or because I'm frightened to apply too much pressure causing the pipe to fracture (I'd rather cut a clean break). Are there tools or techniques I can use to increase the amount of force I can apply without damaging the pipe?
