I am going on Thursday to one of these boilers which is giving an intermittent F29 fault code every few hours but always resets to run until the next lockout.

About a year ago, I went there and found the fan jammed by a piece of installation copper. I left it working but a bit noisy and I did not expect it to last long.

I generally find these boilers very reliable apart from the diverter valve and the APS and the very occasional gas valve failed.

Statistically, what would others expect to be the most likely cause of an F29 on this model?

I would get a proper Corgi Heating Engineer to look at it . It sounds like you are out of your depth... :D lmao

Would that not be your standard reply...

f29 is flame extinguished after lighting. clean burner and electrodes with brass brush, check working pressures (with any cooker/fire on too). Most likely gas valve fault (honeywell and sit versions). ;)
