87.5 v 92.5

I wonder if anyone could clarify what the purpose is of 87.5 degree marley soil pipes.

If they are for connecting to a pipe run on a 2.5 degree slope surely they would have to be 92.5 degrees?

Would appreciate any info.

Its what I call exactly the same but different. Depending on how you look at it 92.5º is also 87.5º from the line of the pipe. The idea is that you have a 2.5º or if you prefer a 177.5º fall

it is exactly the same as the difference between a 45 degree bend and a 135 degree bend :LOL: i think it actually depends who taught you about them, whatever they called it we called,
