A switched fcu with an integrated timer ?

I've got a 24 hour timer - the kind that you stick steel pins into - which is fed from a switched fcu unit.

The arrangement works but looks a mess and I've got concerns about the safety and/or efficiency of this arrangement.

Does anyone know if there are 'special' fcu sockets available that combine the two functions. i.e. can I buy a combined switched fcu that has an integrated 24 hour timer built in ?
