Hi guys, I've taken the time to draw this so I'm hoping to get some decent feedback.

I want to know how I can achieve better access to the floor of this shower/bathroom.

Having tiled the floor it's impossible to get access to the pipes so what can I change to achieve this ?

In truth I wanted to change the plastic from compression to solvent weld and I want to be able to get underneath for any future maintenance also.

The area with the manhole has been cemented, the other 2/3rds of the floor construction is as per the drawing. I used the timber to bring up the floor level with the existing cement upstand

Any questions please ask away

it would be unusual to have a manhole in the upstairs floor!
