Accidentally stained my table - how to 'fix'?

Hi,

Just come back from a holiday and realised I left some veg in a bag on my oak dining room table. Said veg had come a bit mouldy and had gotten to that stage where it begins to create a juice (I am sure you know what I mean). Sadly it seems said juice has stained my table Initially I tried scrubbing it off but it is definitely soaked into the wood

Can anyone give me any suggestions on how to fix this - it sticks out like a sore thumb :-/

Give the table a good sand down, after a good sand down, you can re finish it!

I agree with Youngroughcaster. You'll probably need to have the whole table top sanded down and re-finished again. Any other way, you'll notice it.
