Installation volumes and purging is new for domestic

Vents and flues still the same.

Still do the controls rig but relays valve and a few others not used, zero governor added.

Cant think of any other changes except re-asses is less chances to get it right, not that you'll need em.

The use of the controls rig is not mandatory our centre get you to test all the controls (Except the zero governor and flame rec) on the appliances you find them on. We feel it is less daunting and more realistic of what you will find in the real world.

We only use the rig a little and nobody finds it hard.
No Medium Pressure any more.

Check your tightmess drops for bigger pipes and the 3 different meters - though you can of course look them up.

Remember you're allowed NO drop on ANY pipework, even if it's existing, and if you say a yellow flame is caused by too much air you get a poke in the eye with a blowlamp!

We actually still use the medium pressure on reassessment. It's not as bad as it was.... Don't forget depending on which certification body you use there may be a section on CO detectors.
