hi. iv just left the army and am taking my acs very soon. would just like 2 pieces of confirmation

1)to measure the gas pressure of cooker you attach u gauge to smallest injector on hob. turn on gas should get 18-20mb. but you dont actually light the cooker on the other 3 hobs? am i right?

2)gas rate too high on boiler ---meter govenor and damaged injector can be only cause of this?

thats about. just want to confirm this.

1. no need to light the other three hobs to get the standing pressure of the cooker only light three rings for the gas rate calculation.

2. even if the meter regulator wasnt working properly e.g. to much gas to the appliance the gas valve of the appliance should regulate its pressure to the burner , many gas valves can be adjusted manually using manometer to get burner pressure spot on but if they are sealed or zero govenors then they may need replacing.
