We have tried to learn the 6000 siren to our 3000 system control panel using the newer Yale instructions and we've also tried a couple of 'fixes' on here that change the order of the learn button and power on/off but our control panel still won't recognise the siren.
But I have found solutions that say all dip switches should be to the right and others that say all dip switches should be to the left - but having tried both ways, the siren still isn't talking to the control unit.
I know the bottom dip switch is the one to use to clear the memory and have been religiously using this before each time.
Please can anybody help? I am pulling my hair out with frustration and really need expert guidance before it goes in the bin.
