adhesive for glueing stainless steel to melamine

Anyone got any suggestions as to what product I can use to glue stainless steel to melamine (I want to fit stainless steel sheets cut to size over the existing plinths below my kitchen cabinets).

Some No-nail or Gripfill would be suitable but read the manufacter details first or use this.

Best to roughen up the melamine before gluing.

I do this regular to the plinths on bars in pubs to form a kick plate. I use evo stick adhesive. Just make sure you follow instructions on the tin and i guarantee you will not have any probs.
