Advice needed on reskimmed walls (painting etc)

Hi All,

Just need quick advice, well it may kinda be late to ask, I've painted my reskimmed walls without thinning the basecoat

Would it be advisable to thin the paint as a 2nd coat?

You are better thinning EVERY coat. You get a much better finish - no roller stipple.

thanks for the response, i;ve thinned out the paint, looks much better now
