Bit late replying back but had a powercut last so couldn't log on.
Anyway done it!. Thanks guys...boy, that was exciting.
What I did was I opened the connector to the WC live and quickly plugged it with a blanking cap; not much spillage really. Then I was able to remove the WC thus allowing a fuller view of the pipework. I then used a can of freeze and did the rest of the job.
