Hello experts,

I'm new to the forum and would really appreciate some advice on a floor-restoration project.

I have had a cloakroom stripped out ready to refurbish with new sanitary wear. The parquet flooring was rotten at one end and underneath the WC therefore I have lifted this area (mixture of rotten blocks and sound blocks) approx 1yd x 2yd. I was planning to split the good blocks in half depth ways to give me enough blocks to relay over the damaged area. ( I have failed to find any matching blocks via salvage) .

I would like to know the best way to build the concrete floor up ( ~1 inch required) to enable the half depth blocks to be matched with the rest of the floor level.

advice on the above would be greatly appreciated!!
