Hi all,
Hopefully someone on here can provide me with a bit of guidance.
I am in the process of installing a new kitchen and at the weekend put in my new dishwasher (Its the first time myself and the guy helping to fit everything have used a dishwasher.)
The pipework complete we hooked up the inlet pipe which has a safety valve as part of it. This is in the form of a sealed unit on the end of the hose which has an electrical circuit inside. The wire for this runs into the dishwasher itself (the pipe is double walled).
Everything else connected and the dishwasher secured I tried to run it. It all turns on fine and the cycle starts but it errors (audible tone) and the dishwasher is bone dry inside.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do? Is there a certain way the safety valve has to be positioned on installation?
The reason I ask here is that I have called AEG and sadly they are not willing to give any advice out over the phone
Cheers
Chris
