Aggh - cut through Damp Proof Membrane - Solutions?

Hi All

I've just done something pretty stupid - I was cutting away the expansion gap foam around the edges of the screed in our extension when I accidentally cut about a 20cm slice into the damp proof membrane - Does anyone have any solutions to seal this slice up?

Right I think you'll have to knock the whole thing down and start again

If you are worried about it just fill it with some silicone.

Agreed with the silicone, there won't be a huge water pressure as it's not underground but it can get very wet if there's nowhere else for the water to go.

Thank you! I am going to try a repair patch with DP8005 scotch weld, with silicone also.. I’ll report results for benefit of others.

Is that 500g polythene rather than the usual 1200g?
