I have completed a whole system flush to remove sludge etc. At the same time I installed a new pump. I completely bleed every radiator.

Now when the system starts from cold I can hear air bubbling in to the first radiator in the system. I keep bleeding it and air keeps collecting in it. Someone suggested to try to see if it was a gas not air by holding a match to it. It is air. I also get a pocket of air forming in the pump.

Any suggestions what I can try?
