Hi,
Please help if you can. Ive replaced a radiator for a double, the pipe work is 10mm. no problem no leaks, but I cant get the radiator to fill, when i switch the system on the pump is running but no water is running through pump because i tried to bleed it but nothing. I went in the loft and let air out of the air vent but just a little escaped. The boiler is alight. Ive even disconnected the valves from rad and still no water coming out. This property is a bungalow and prior to changing the rad I shut the flow and return valves off on all rads to save draining them entirely. Then i reopened them after fitting new rad and now think Ive trapped air in the system. But am puzzled that the header tank has water but none getting to pump, has the two way valve packed in? Desperate for some answers ASAP!!!
Thanks for any help. :(

Did you check that the F&E cistern emptied when you drained the system?

If it doesn't then you have the traditional blockage in the cold feed to the system - this is invariably at the tee fitting where the cold feed joins the larger guage (22mm or 28mm or 3/4" or 1") pipework.
