Airlock I think - in wall-hung camray regular oil boiler ...

Hi, looking for help here - took out my kitchen radiator recently, (the plumber did) and capped the ends off. Also put new therm valves on 2 other radiators.

Since then, the boiler is overheating, cutting out, humming.
Figured it was an airlock - tried bleeding the radiators, still no luck.
The 2 radiators which had the new valves just don't fill up.
All is well in the tank in loft, so any help is appreciated...
Possibly should have not capped the ends off the removed radiator?

pump seems ok - tried adjusting the speeds, but not making much difference.

thanks for the replies, though still not sure how to fix it, other than get the plumber round.
Any other easy ways to clear airlocks on an unsealed system
