All my alarm cables are already wired when the house was built in 2001, do you think the wires inside the cable is able for a Grade 2 or 3 alarm system?

More than likely will be standard 6 or 8 core alarm signal cable and will be fine.

It must be multi-core alarm cables, in this case you can use it for any Grade of alarm system.

Even if it's just 4-core, you can use it for an ID system.
