Alarm Code - Networker model TS590

Hello everyone,

I'm just about to move to a house which already has the above alarm installed.

I do have the existing user code but would like to change it quite quickly. I have downloaded a manual (not sure if it is the correct one) from:

am I right in thinking that I need to "Change Passcode" as per page 15?

Also apparently there is a key fob which deactivates the alarm when it is swiped over the key pad. Will I be able to change the code for the fob myself or will it have to be reprogrammed by an engineer.

Yes, the user code is called the passcode by Menvier.

If you have the fob, you don't need to worry. The fob contains a unique number that cannot be changed or duplicated.

So here's me being tired and thick! I should be able to safely change the pass code at the keypad and the fobs will work with the code they already have?
