Alarm PIR sensor sensitivity

Hi, I have just been installing a Pan/Tilt IP camera in the landing of our house. The thing I stupidly ignored was that there was a PIR alarm sensor also in that location. The PIR is not directly pointing at the camera as they are on separate corners of the same wall. The PIR is also pointing down slightly so it may not be directly in its field of vision. As of yet it has not triggered the alarm. Is it likely that this could happen.
