My parents have an alpha 240P combi boiler.
My dad says the system bar pressure was low last night and opened the loop to top the pressure up to the green zone on the gauge.
He went to bed, this morning the needle gauge read zero though the rads were warm from when the must of come on this morning.
I’ve opened the loop for 30 seconds the needle raises and boiler then clicks on but the pressure drops again roughly after a minute or 2.
I am assuming a major leak, but thought I’d ask on here first as it’s a Sunday if anything obvious on the boiler to look at?
There appears to be no signs of a leak (well no water leaking though the ceilings). However suppose could be leaking downstairs under the floorboards?
