alpha 280 e boiler

Hi

My combi boiler has just exhibited a problem - the boiler does not ignite when the thermostat for the central heating is turned up. I also see that the neon next to the radiator symbol is not on (when the selector is on radiator and hot water).

This situation arose after I turned the mains electric back on after a while off.

The hot water does work fine and neon symbol for this is fine .


Any advice?

Bypass the thermostat and see if the boiler works.

For information - I just jiggled the timer setter 'run' and 'auto' switches and then all worked again.
