Yes, but at the time I thought that the model described as AP24/AP26 memory serving correctly? may have been an AP240 abbreviated.

As Leigh states there has been lots of mis-diagnosis as you put it, and not just from me.

I stand by that I was only trying to help Leigh out.

Dont be silly, you gotta try and help. Its people like Paul that seem to have a wealth of knowledge but like to take pleasure in putting other people down when they try and help, all he should of done was answer the question at hand not patronise them.
