Alternative to CH radiator

Afternoon guys. Piping a radiator to the downstairs toilet is going to be a pain, so looking for alternatives. Started looking at oil filled electric radiators only because a mate of mine has a Farho Elegance in his snug & say's it's great. No idea how much they would cost to run thou
Anything good or bad about them? Can they be located in rooms with toilets in? The gap I want it to go into is only 420mm wide

It's only a small room but would like it to give off enough heat to warm up the hallway as well because apart from a rad on the stairs there is no heat on that side of the house downstairs & during winter it is fecking freezing in that area. Cheers for any replies
