Can anybody point me in the direction of a similar but bigger panel to Ikea‘s Fastbo panels?

We're kind of stuck with that system but Ikea don't do a panel big enough for one area of the kitchen.

The panels are a very thin steel/ali coating on what looks like melamine. about 2-3 mm in all. any one seen a product like this elsewhere?

Thanks
Mark

Do you mean these?

Have they got to match anything existing?
have they got to be steel/ali ?

Yes those. Can't tell if its aluminium anodised to look like s/steel or is actually stainless steel. If the former its a close match to s/s fittings so I guess a stainless steel product would be the one to go for.

Try home depot. They have large sheets of formica that would be good for a backsplach as an alternative to Fastbo

That's a great idea. It's only an 8 hour flight from the UK.

Have you tried a commercial catering supplier? Reckon they'd have sheets you could get cut down to size.
