I'm building an annexe down the end of garden, the foundations are down and now I'm looking to run services frome the house to the annexe before the slab goes down. Can anyone help with what spec pipes to use to run water and gas to the annexe? Is running gas going to cause issues or large expense. Any info would be of great help.

Thank.

You should ask your gas installer about gas pipes!

Running pipes in the garden is a topic regularly covered on here.

A small search should give you all the information you need.

Is this annex to have its own gas boiler?

Would it not be easier to make it all electric?

Have though about doing away with gas boiler and having electric only, just unsure on the cost! Trying to weigh up cost of installing and running the 2 different systems gas v elec.

Is it to be permanently occupied and rented out?

Electricity is more expensive but far cheaper to install.
