Hi all.. they say a picture paints a thousand words and all that .. so here it is..

This is our delightfull decorated and small green bathroom, that were about to redo. Ideally we want to get rid of the boxing that covers the soil pipe vent that goes directly up anbd out of the roof, as we want to fit a cabinet with hidden cistern, roughly the level of the blue line. I've highlighted where the pipe currently goes, its red in the photo.

What are our options of redirecting the soil vent so that it goes through the outside wall, below the level of the blue line? Is it feasible? Could we exit through the wall and fit an AAV? The window is quite close as to where the exit would be as you can see. Or are there any other options to remove the box section?

Thanks for any advice... this is a detached house at the end of a row of three.

can be done after the highest waste connector fit a 90 bend through wall then a 90 upwards.

You can divert it through the wall but check with your local planning this is allowed. You will still have to take the stack up outside to terminate at least 900mm above any window within 3 meters or it will be in breach of the building regs. You could cut the stack off short & fit an air admittance valve inside but you will have to keep the stack height & the boxed in section above the overflow level of the sink so there is no chance of it overflowing if it becomes blocked & it must be accessible for maintenance. It might just be doable but I would check your proposals with Building Control before you start cutting things away just to be sure.
