I need to know how to remove candle wax from our projection tv screen.

A candle was burning weirdly out of control and stupidly I picked up the container after I blew it out. The wax dribbled onto my thumb and index finger and my painful motions resulted in wax on our projection tv screen. My husband is going to kill me. HELP!
