Any German speakers?

The clever people who supplied my wall bracket for my TV sent it in German. Don't fancy hanging it on the wall when I can't understand the text.

Can anyone translate it for me?

My German is limited to "Ich bin vier und zwanzig jahre alt, ich wohle im Fussgangerzone. Mein wurst ist geschlechte!"

However, Google has a pretty decent translation facility. You can type in the text and convert it.

It's along the lines of: only use the wall mounting kit provided, be careful not to drill into pipes or cables, etc.

I think it's just a general, be careful, use your common sense disclaimer.

That's just translating the odd word though. It doesn't seem to add anything you won't already know.

Anyway, use for installation to the wall double and wall hooks (??)

Make sure there are no pipes or wires in the place you are drilling.

I presume you've sussed it by now, but actually duebel is 'Anchor' not 'double'-would be doppel as mis-translated above.

It is of course a totally un-necessarry common sense notice, of the 'may contain nuts' variety, to cover the posteriors of the supplier, rather than to be of any help to you ..
"use proper fixings for the wall, take it to a specialist for advice if those supplied are unsuitable, beware of the weight &c. &c."

However I'm sure you know all this now. More sensible would have been if it had said "Once its up just give it a good pull to test before you put anything expensive on it -if it moves reinforce it before you do !" but so called 'common' sense is quite rare these days.
