Any regs. on height of external louvre vent from cooker hood

Hi- just checking if I can place the external vent from a cooker hood low down on an external wall (just 'cos there's a boiler in the way inside). Wouldn't want someone to get a faceful of burnt chillies, but the alternative is a tortuous route....... Any regs. surrounding this? Can't find any.
