Anyone any experience with Pratley Klik-Lok IP66/68 Jn Boxes?
Have used Pratley above/under IP68 boxes, never used their Klik-Lok.

I have a relatively "lightweight" MS Jn IP56 close to the ground.
- 2.4mm wall thickness, polycarb
- CW glands w/sealing washers, piranha, drain hole drilled (not IP56 now)
- Located in sheltered corner formed by two 1-storey walls
- Fixed 1.5 bricks above block paving, which slopes away

Originally fitted in 1996 the low height was forced by desire to retain 150mm from copper gas pipe above. Sealing washers added, Piranha added, RCBO head protection in 1998, y-o coated Tracpipe replacing bare copper recently as same route. 1.5mm 6943X crosses perpendicular behind the Tracpipe (ample clearance) to supply the jn-box via side-entry, 6.0mm 6944X exists jn-box similarly via side-entry.

The drain hole compromises the IP rating so close to the ground.
- I could plug it & "magic fill" (re-enterable) via unused top MS plug

The box is relatively lightweight.
- I could replace it with a Pratley box, considerably more substantial

I don't think polycarb ages over 13yrs - or does it re helmet time-limits?

MS Jn-Box & Pratley Klik-Lok use threadless hole entries so easy change, and looks like the Klik-Lok could be a timely improvement.

RF, none :)

- It is a mere 1.5 bricks (4-inch) above the block paving
- It is a physically "lightweight box" re any mechanical damage

However, as you imply - "it has lasted 13 years, it will last another".

I think I may "Magic Gel" it re pressure washer risk.
In those famous words "I have it left over from a previous".
