Anyone bought B+Q carpet off the roll? Quality?

A new store near me has carpet on a roll and it seems pretty good value to me eg. 100% wool hessian back berber for £7.98 per m2....

Is it a bargain really? the quality looked ok to me but hard to say when another comparable carpet isn't side by side.

Has anyone bought their carpet this way? I know a good fitter and it looks like I can save at least £200 by not going to a carpet showroom....
opinions welcome.

regarding hessian backed carpets

when I had rental property to refit I would only get hessian backed cheap carpet , never the rubber backed or false/faux hessian type carpet ...

the fact being hessian backed carpet was a better carpet ,I know you are talking about a 100% wool berber , just make sure the backing is the real deal ...
