Anyone recommend an IP alarm system ?

I'm particularly looking for something that I can control from my phone ie; switch on/off the alarm.

So I would need an internet connection and a virtual keypad ?

also I want to be able to view IP cameras and record if the alarm is activated, can I use an IP camera to activate the alarm and/or record when the alarm is activated ?

Or are we talking about two different things here ?

I think you're probably best keeping the alarm and CCTV separate. You can configure the alarm to activate an output for the CCTV, but it's probably better having the CCTV recording 24hrs continually. An IP based CCTV system will enable you to log in and view at any time.

The alarm would contact you when triggered, giving details of zones triggered Etc. You can then check out the CCTV and decide your course of action. If a false alarm, then you can reset via virtual keypad.
