Anyone used Simplisafe?

Every US family-based YouTube channel I follow is doing sponsored ads for this product, so I assume they must be on a big marketing drive. I've just seen them advertising in the UK on FaceBook and wondered if anyone has any experience?

It seems a nice system from seeing people demo it but of course it would be shown at its best.

I like that it seems more like a traditional system PLUS smart tech rather than just a bunch of WiFi cameras.
