I appreciate that this is a bit of a long shot, but does anyone know a plumber/heating engineer in the Leeds area who would be willing/looking to take a 22 year old lad on.? It seems I've missed the boat with regards to college (17 to 19 year olds) and aside from paying sums of money i can't afford for one of those x amount of weeks courses am struggling to get my foot in the door so to speak.I understand the current situation is not the best for job opportunity's so any advice or interest would be very welcome and appreciated.Thanks Nathan.

Have you tried British Gas? Last I knew they took people up to 23 and they are still recruiting in big numbers.
