I am installing a new shower enclosure and intend to use aquapanel to replace the damaged plaserboard (after removing existing tiles).
It is a modern house and the partition walls of the bathroom appear to be constructed of thick rigid sheets of plasterboard with no apparent battens and with 12.5mm plasterboard dot and dabbed onto it.
My question is can aquapanel be fixed with plasterboard adhesive or are the nails essential.
The reason I would like to know is that the when the existing 12.5mm plasterboard is removed adhesive will be left behind making a flush fit difficult and also I'm not going to be able to nail the aquapanel to the wall in any case without reconstruction
please can someone help
