It was all going well until he held up 'main dealer' as being the bastion of all things quality in the motoring world.

But you still give the impression that because you charge a lot of money you are naturally better.

He does more than that, he comes across as yet another arrogant pompous Architect who's own self opinion allows him to disparage anyone not in the clique

The choice remains your's, just as if your car is accident damaged it can be taken to the main dealers and repaired properly or to a back street garage where it will be 'blown over' and the paint bloom within six months

Architects are not main dealers though ... more like wheeler-dealers in a sharp suit, giving it lots of patter, selling their expensive wares to the gullible.

I really don't know how you found the time from your successful world of referrals and multi-million pound jobs, to come down to a lowly DIY site were we only talk about little kitchen extensions on the back of a semi, which add no value to the homeowner because an Architect was not involved
