I hope someone can help!
I have an Ariston Combi Boiler and have recently allowed water into the boiler to increase the pressure. In doing so I managed not to tighten the knob allowing water into the boiler and the pressure is now sitting above 3 on the gauge.
I have also noticed that an overflow pipe suspiciously near the room the boiler is in has been constantly dripping and wonder if this is the cause.
Can anyone tell me how to reduce the pressure in the boiler without me having to call out an engineer? I want to get it back down to 1 on the gauge first to see if this is the overflow problem.
If anyone can tell me how to drain the boiler without water gushing out that would also be a help as I have no clue where the drain point is - should it be obvious?
Hope someone can help!
Cheers
Graeme
