I've got an Ariston dishwasher that is leaking after use. I've checked the waste pipe, reconnected it to the main drain pipe, tried dishwasher drain unblocker, cleaned filter etc, but still it leaks. This makes me think that the leak is not caused by any blockage, but something else - possibly the drain pump, from what I've read on this site.
Might also be worth mentioning that the dishwasher doesn't leak on every use - one out of three times approx. it seems to be OK.
Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be and whether it can be fixed without having to call out an engineer? If an enginner is needed, anyone know how much it might cost - would it be cheaper to buy a new dishwasher? This one is less then 2 years old, so I'm reluctant to give up on it yet.
