For the past few weeks I have been experiencing a problem with the hot water supply from my boiler.

The water supply starts off at a good temperature but if the tap is left running the temperature on the boiler contunies to rise. Adjusting the temperature control does nothing. The pressure remains the same and the pump is constantly running.

The only way I can resolve the problem is to cycle the power on the boiler.

Does anyone have any solutions?

Many Thanks

Cannot say I can remember an awful lot about this boiler , but logic would dictate that there is (or might ) a problem with the hot water control stat / thermistor ??? or the control board ????

I have ordered a new thrmostat for the DWH loop. I should have it in the next few days and I will let you know the outcome of the repair.

Many Thanks

It would have been better to measure the resistance of both sensors with the boiler cold to identify if there was any obvious fault with one.

Whilst sensors are the obvious first suspect this kind of fault can have several possible causes, some gas related.
