Hi,

You may have seen this project I am doing with is _nearly_ finished: //www.diynot.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=31272

I am indebted to you all for the technical advice - my wall is looking good and I should have it finished before the weather turns really nasty!

Now I need your *artistic* advice. One end turns a corner and goes in front of a fence, and we are not sure what to do for the best. What is under the fence needs retaining which I'm going to do with 7N blocks like all the rest, it's just the final appearance we are puzzled about. We'd really appreciate any ideas.

What would go in the red box?

View from the front (not my wellies!) - the part I am asking about is just round the corner.

Thanks for looking and thanks for any ideas - we'd love your input!

as youve got the height difference between the paving and the gravel boards, why do a low planter there, with a brickwork wall, or renedered blockwork, topped with slate etc etc. That way you plant whatever you want there to give year round colour and hide whats behind.
